Enough inner calm to stop. Take a breath. Be here now. And decide to sit with my boy in a giant park by ourselves and have lunch under the blue blue sky and puffy clouds, rather than deliberately fill the time with busying.
While others in the world rush here and there, meet deadlines, be responsible for teams, have meetings over latte’s, negotiate wins, direct peers, feel important and rewarded, contribute to important endeavours – as I used to.
A significant moment. I am a mum. At home everyday. And that is OK.
A ritual. A single photo. No words (theoretically). Capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
