It’s about balance

Anyone else store their chocolate right next to their health foods? No? Just me? Alrighty then.
Well, when you have a 4 week old and a 3 year old, it’s all about balance.

Balance the inevitable self criticism out with the mental high fives.

The knee jerk reactions to toddler obstinace with cuddles, chats and reading books.

Hating on your flabby gut and hairy legs with admiring the fact that you produced a human being.

Feeling useless and like you’re waving goodbye to your career with feeling the pure love and loving dependence that you see when your child looks in your eyes long.

Shitty, rats nest house, baby spue in your hair, niko texta wall drawing, toddler peeing in public, ‘I’m not your friend mummy’ days with  small win days.

Kale with Easter eggs.

Eventually, the good outweighs the crap. It has to. It’s the law or averages … or something like that.

Got any thoughts? I'd love to hear them.
