why oils were right for me

There are so many reasons people start to integrate oils into their life.  For me it was:

so that I could keep spending time with my kids

img_4904.jpgFor my second child, I am enjoying spending time with my children so much more than the first. The first is always a blur of being confronted by things you are doing wrong or don’t know how to do. And I had to go back to work when he was one, I had no choice financially or if I ever wanted a career in future.

However, this time, I didn’t want to start them in care and sit at a desk all day wondering if they were alright and longing to be with them. I wanted to be able to work when my kids were sleeping or at school and soak up the beauty of being their mum every other second.

Learning about therapeutic essential oils, incorporating them into my life and educating others along the way, plus building a business around those skills has enabled me to do just that.

lemon-1918082_1920I’ve talked at length about how I took my body for granted for too long and how I found safety in seeking out evidence based health repair habits. Even though I am a former skeptic and I used to think oils were a bunch of bull – despite (or perhaps because of) having grown up around them – I tried one. And it worked. I tried another. It worked too.

Then my research began. My lengthy LENGTHY investigations. I put it together with my expertise in anatomy and physiology and that was enough for me.

When I realised essential oils worked to repair health. When I realised they could play a significant role in helping me switch from modern medicine to preventative medicine. When I realised I wanted and needed to return to having a connection to the earth, plants and nature rather than loading my body with chemicals and synthetics. When I realised I was feeling better! That was enough for me.

residual income with a conscience

alternative-906138_1920Essential oils therapy and education enables me to earn enough income for me to stay at home with my kids, by doing something I believe in. In fact, I get to do something I’ve been wanting to do FOR YEARS – transition from a chemical based family to a natural based family. My household products are natural (and do the job). I go to the grocery store and skip the cosmetics and home products aisle and WOW does that feel good.

Do any of these reasons resonate for you?

I’d love to hear back. Or maybe you have some questions for me?

Got any thoughts? I'd love to hear them.
